Publisher Description

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas...except when it doesn't. Kitty and Ben return to their werewolf pack in Denver only to discover an invisible evil that smells of brimstone and plays with fire has followed them home. Stalking the whole pack, it leaves a charred trail of ashes and death across the city.

Kitty seeks help from Rick, the master vampire of Denver, as well as from the paranormal investigators on a popular reality television show. But when a mysterious vampire who claims to be a demon hunter—and the only one who can help them—suddenly arrives, Kitty and her allies won't be able to predict what he really wants...or what they must do to extinguish the terror that can torch them all.

"The rest of the series has been good enough, but this book really kicked up the action and developed the characters a bit more, in my opinion. Kitty and Ben seem to be finally acting more like a couple and I guess I can stop whining that I wished she'd ended up with Cormick. Ben is growing on me."

" This series is a very good "light" read. There isn't a lot of depth but the action is good and there are twists and turns that keep you flipping the pages. These books haven't taken up permanent residence on my nightstand (in other words - i don't reread them every night) but I have kept them because I might feel the impulse to go back and revisit their adventures. " I really enjoyed this book. I have a sad fascination with haunted houses so it really hit my radar. I kept expecting ghosts to jump out so it was fun. The usual Kitty madness was the same and each book seems to get better. I love the different characters and watching them grow. "

" While I liked this one, I felt it was written more as an "in-between" book. It picks up where the last leaves off, doesn't really develop previous characters but does add new ones. Aside from that, it's a good book, fast read, and a strong female character with sarcasm. "
