Publisher Description

Wulf is an ancient Viking warrior with a useful but extremely aggravating power-amnesia. No one who meets him in person can remember him five minutes later. It makes it easy to have one-night stands, but hard to have a meaningful relationship, and without true love he can never regain his soul. When he finally meets Cassandra, the one woman who can remember him, she turns out to be the princess of the cursed race he's sworn to hunt - and is forbidden to him. The two of them must face ancient curses, prophecies, and the direct meddling of the Greek gods to find true happiness at last.

"Enjoyable, but not as good as the earlier books in the series. Found it a bit slower and harder to get into. Characters were interesting but sometimes a bit repetitive. With that said, it has not put me off the series one bit... onto number 8!! :) "

" Total tearjerker...seriously..and I never get teary eyed over books..But I really enjoyed this more than I had expected to. "

" I wish I had a boxed set of all the Dark-Hunter books so that I could just read right through them! So, sometimes it's cheesy, yes, the leading men all have the same voice (Oh, I never thought I would ever love/love again so deeply as I do for this woman I cannot have) but they are all VERY old, so who am I to judge. And they are all so terribly good looking and ripped, strong and protective, yet mostly respectful and so terribly talented, if you know what I mean...what's not to like??!! But hot men do not a story make! It is the story that really keeps me coming back to these books. And the promise that I will eventually find out what Acheron is. I do not know where Sherilyn Kenyon comes up with this stuff, but I am thankful. Thank you for distracting me so completely from most of my responsibilities on a Saturday afternoon and evening...over and over again. I just love reaching the happy ending that I know will come along with the promise of more at the end of each book. I feel like I should send a message to S. K. about how much I love her right this minute, maybe I will. "

" I love this book. It's one of my favorites in this series. I really feel for Wulf, and how he deals with not being remembered by anyone. "

" This book gets 3 stars if only because they forced me to tolerate the bad guy's POV for longer than I usually endure in books. I loved the interactions between Chris and Wulf -- Chris is like my Nick substitute in the sarcastic department. I loves me some sarcastic banter in my books :-) While this book was kind of depressing in parts, it was still a good addition to the series. I'm a few books in now, and I have to say, these books haven't gotten too repeditive for me yet. I'm going to start the next one and see where that goes, but I feel like I could easily mow through all of these without a break... so far... "

" For the first time, I was confused with the differences between Apollites, Daimons, Spathis, Dark Hunters, and the rest. The book failed to grab me like previous entries in the series. I hope the next book proves to be better. "

" Poor Wulf. No one can remember him except Cassandra and his bloodline. Which concerned me, because I was afraid he was related to her. But everything worked out alright. "

" In this series so far, this has been my least favorite book. I didn't feel a strong connection with Wulf like I have with Zarek/Talon/Julian/Kyrian! Although I didn't love the book, I would still recommend the series of PNR! "

" Nobody can remember Wulf 5 minutes after meeting him....until he meets Cassandra. The dream segments were kind of weird and then to find out she got pregnant through them???? Wulf is a Dark Hunter and Cassandra is an Appolite - two enemies that fall in love. "
