" I really liked this book. It's about a boy who is escaping China because the Japanese are invading. He hikes up the Himalayas with his family friend Uncle Sung. On the way he is adopted by a troop of yeti's. (bigfoot) "

" I always enjoy Michael Morpurgo's books, even though I find them to be quite similar in many ways. I was interested to learn that his novels are always based on a real experience that he has heard about. However, I wasn't convinced that much of this story was based on any kind of truth at all. "
