The White Rabbit beckons you to follow him, down the rabbit hole, into his world. He's a deceiver, a trickster. You won't know what is truth and what is a lie. He aims to best you. Beat you. And when he does, you die.

A friend's brutal murder turns former homicide detective Stacy Killian's life upside down. Unwilling to trust Spencer Malone, the overconfident New Orleans detective assigned to the case, Stacy is compelled to return to the investigative role she had fled.

The investigation leads Stacy and Spencer to White Rabbit, a cultish fantasy role-playing game. White Rabbit is dark, violent - and addictive. As the body count mounts, they find themselves trapped in a terrifying game that's more real than life and death. Because anyone can die before the final moment when White Rabbit is over...and the killer takes all.

" The ending was a complete shocker to me, although I ending up feeling a bit short changed. Everything neatly fell into place too perfectly, but I guess all good things must end. "

" I really struggled through this book. IT wasn't awful but I had to force myself to finish it. I loved her book Forbidden Fruit. Absolutely loved it and was hoping for somthing similar to that. This certainly was not. "

" Psychological thriller. A deadly dungeons and dragon type of game called the White Rabbit named after the characters in Alice in Wonderland puzzle the local police and an ex-police officer. The ex-police officer is drawn into the game. Who is the White Rabbit? "

" This is my first book done for the new year. It's got plenty of drama, suspense and intrigue. Set in New Orleans, this deals with a serial killer who likes to play role playing games that turn out deadly. Stacy Killian is introduced in this novel, when she meets Spencer Malone, his family and his Aunt Patty. She's been left cryptic notes from the "White Rabbit", putting her life in danger, when she's next on his list. It's up to the NOPD to protect her and stop this "White Rabbit" from killing others. What a rush! "

Liked the way the present day related with a video game. Really an interesting mystery. First one of Spindler's I have read. "
