Publisher Description

"This a a truly amazing book. The story itself could drive the whole piece, but the way she writes it is poetry in motion. If you love NYC, rock 'n roll history, biography of great artists, or just enjoy a quirky love story, this book will reel you in and keep you engaged until the last page. "

" An engaging story of the summer of love and the beginnings of the artist Robert Mapplethorpe and his friend and musical phenomenon Patti Smith. What a tale-the godmother of punk and the tortured artist and their life in art. "
