Publisher Description

Meet the World's Funniest Kindergartner—Junie B. Jones! Junie B. is a very grown-up little lady. So how come everyone treats her like a baby? With over 50 million books in print, Barbara Park's New York Times bestselling chapter book series, Junie B. Jones, is a classroom favorite and has been keeping kids laughing—and reading—for over 20 years! In the 13th Junie B. Jones book, Junie B.'s aunt Flo is getting married. What a perfect chance for her to show everyone how grown-up she is! Too bad she wasn't picked to be the flower girl in the wedding so she could really show off. But surely Junie B. can still find some way to get everyone's attention. USA TODAY: "Junie B. is the darling of the young-reader set." Publisher's Weekly: "Park convinces beginning readers that Junie B.—and reading—are lots of fun." Kirkus Reviews: "Junie's swarms of young fans will continue to delight in her unique take on the world….A hilarious, first-rate read-aloud." Time Magazine: "Junie B. Jones is a feisty six-year-old with an endearing penchant for honesty."

"Junie B. Jones wanted to be a flower girl at her Aunt Flo's wedding. She just wanted two flower petals out of Bo's basket because she wanted to be the flower girl. Then they started to be friends. I could tell because they were smiling a little bit. Junie B. Jones says she's a lady, but she says her mother calls her a baby; but her mother doesn't really call her a baby. She is funny."

" I am reading this book to my 2nd grade class. I am usually a pretty serious teacher, but when I read the part about Junie B. taking a bubble bath I was laughing so hard I could barely get through it. This series is great for read-alouds. Park does a great job of relating to kids. "

" This is why I think kids shouldn't be told everything, lol. I did like the way they solved the problem to make Junie B. include her in a way that made her feel better. And isn't it a shame that adults can't get over their scabbles as easily as Junie B. and Bo did. I really enjoyed this one. "

" Loved this! This is the 13th book in the series and it was just as funny as the others. No matter where you start in the series you'll love each book. Read them with your child or just for yourself too. Regardless of it being a first chapter series of books. Don't let these books slip under your radar. Give it and them a read! "
