Publisher Description

Meet the Cacciamanis and the Rosemans, rival florists and bitter enemies for as long as either family can remember (although no one can recall precisely why) until one fateful day when divorced Julie Roseman and widowed Romeo Cacciamani meet by chance at a small business seminar in the Boston Sheraton. More than flowers bloom as a result and when their respective families--horrified--find out about the budding romance, all hell breaks loose.

"I loved this book -- it was funny, entertaining and a very good read. It's the story of two very dymanic families who are in the florist business and how their lives intertwine -- fights, love affairs, etc. I recommend it. I've also read several other books by Jeanne Ray. She's a good, fun author."

" This is a fun book with a great story. I love looking at this classic love story from the perspective of a modern family & an older generation couple. I definitely recommend it. "

" Easy to read romance. Read it in one evening. A little over the top in some areas but it was needed for the story line, I guess. I did like that the love story was between 60 year olds. I think a lot of the "romantic line" publishing forgets that older people need romance too. "

" Maybe it's just not my mood, but the beginning of this was so absurd I simply have no desire to finish it. I only started it because I thought Eat Cake was so delightful, so until I hear from someone I trust that this is a great book, I won't bother with this one. "

" Although I really enjoy Jeanne Ray's writing and her characters, I didn't think this one was as successful as Calling Invisible Women or Step Ball Change (although it visits some of the same territory). I just couldn't buy into the family feud premise, which seemed a little over the top. "

" warning- not for younger readers. I don't remember how graphic Shakespeare got in Romeo and Juliet, but there are a few scenes in this book that I don't reccommend for teenage readers Even more delightful than the first. I wish there were more books to this series. "
