Publisher Description

It was a murder made for TV: a trail of tiny bloody footprints. An innocent toddler playing beside her mother's bludgeoned body. Pretty young Corinne Wolff, seven months pregnant, brutally murdered in her own home.

Cameras and questions don't usually faze Nashville homicide lieutenant Taylor Jackson, but the media frenzy surrounding the Wolff case is particularly nasty...and thorough. When the seemingly model mommy is linked to an amateur porn website with underage actresses and unwitting players, the sharks begin to circle.

The shock is magnified when an old adversary uses the sexy secret footage to implicate Taylor in a murder - an accusation that threatens her career, her reputation, and her relationship.

Both cases hinge on the evidence - real or manufactured - of crimes that go beyond passion, into the realm of obsessive vengeance and shocking betrayal. Just what the networks love.

"Third in the Taylor Jackson series. The main story is the murder of a young mother but there are a couple of subplots involving both Jackson and her profiler fiance John Baldwin. Good story and suspense. This book doesn't wrap up the loose ends to the sub plots so it doesn't stand alone as well as some of the others in the series but still good. On to #4..."

" Nashville homicide investigator Jackson Taylor is called to the scene of a disturbing murder: beautiful, pregnant Corrine Wolff, brutally beaten in front of her young daughter. Signs point to Corinne's husband, Todd, but Taylor has her doubts. When she learns that the Wolffs were making and distributing amateur pornography, other investigators in her office turn up old X-rated footage of Taylor that could destroy her career. This is part of a series on this character, and these books should be read in order. Taylor's husband is a profiler with the FBI, and one of his serial killers makes an appearance. A nice vacation/airport read. "
