Publisher Description

"We've got millions!" the prospectors roared to the throng at Seattles' docks. "The Klondike is the richest goldfield in the world!" Within moments, the telegraph is humming the news. Within hours, fifteen-year-old Jason Hawthorn is rushing west from New York City with a bad case of Klondike fever. For readers who love a survival story told with bone-chilling authenticity, Will Hobbs has spun a saga of courage, friendship, and endurance set under the northern lights and amidst the actual events of the Klondike gold rush.

"i gave this book four stars because it is a great adventure book about a fourteen old kid who goes up to alaska for the gold rush. The reason i gave it only four is because at the very end of the book when he reaches his destination and he never even searches for gold and just stays in the town. "

" First, this book is boring!!!!! But I don't like adventure books that much. Jason had been through many situations like going through the dead horse trail and was threatened to get shot but still went in. He got kicked off the ship and got his money stolen. So he ended up with no money. There was a gold rush and Jason's mainly tasks was to find gold and find his brothers. There was many characters in the book and lots of action. This book just wasnt my type. "

" This book is unapealing to my taste of picking books. Plus the book is pretty much longer because of the small words!! It's was really slow while reading the book and everyone that said that you hated it I agree!!!!!!!! "

" I did not like this book, the first and second parts weren't very interesting but the third was okay. I wish I could have just stopped reading the book and start reading a book I was actually interested in. There were some pretty descriptive words here and there but all in all it wasn't what I thought would be. I thought it would be a 7 when we first rated it. Now I would rated it about a 2. I think some parts of the book didn't need to be there. I would not recommend this book to any one who is interested in reading it. "
