"This is the third book in the trilogy about the Conway brothers. Jake is the youngest and is a veterinarian. He loves life and is a flirt and takes in all strays. When the neighbor dies and his estranged daughter comes back to settle his estate she finds a seven year old half brother she doesn't know she has. Meg is a high-powered lawyer from Washington D.C. and had only planned to come back for a week to settle her father's estate. She finds more in the way of the handsome neighbor,Jake, who comes to her rescue more than once and trying to find a relationship with her little brother. Then someone is trying to scare her away from the ranch and she finds a safe haven with her neighbors the Conway's. This ranch family has been around forever and is always ready to help. When Meg's brother Cory is kidnapped the Conway's along with the state police and some private investigators come in to help. You'll want to read the book to find out what happens and to find out the mystery that has being going on through all three books about what happened to the boy's Mother is finally solved. I loved this trilogy and hope R.C. Ryan comes up with another one soon."

" LOVED Jake's story, I think it was my favorite of the brothers. I really love the family dynamic and seeing it grow book after book was a real treat. This book wrapped up all little loose ends within the family as well as seeing Jake with his own HEA. "

" My first R.C. Ryan book and not sure I'd go out of my for another. It was ok. the characters were well developed and the setting was excellent but I found the plot very repetitive and a bit boring. The villain wasn't hard to figure out. The climax was similar to many novels. No surprises here. "

" An okay read -- there were some different facts from books 1 and 2 but it was pretty much the same story. I DO like the Conway family. "

" I loved this series; however, all three books ran along the same lines. Man meets woman, woman is in trouble and takes refuge with man's family, woman falls in love with man and family... and so on. Individually, these are great, but if you read all three together, you'll kind of get tired of them. "
