" same 'ol same 'ol. Reacher rolls into a small town full of idiots and starts kickin some a$$. after close to twenty of these novels the plot should change a bit from book to book. one would hope. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Ed Kinlock | 2/11/2014

" Instant action from beginning to end. Jack Reacher once again is judge, jury and executioner for some top of the line slime balls. I can see Charles Bronson from 40 years ago playing the roll. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Janet Annie | 1/27/2014

" Jack reacher series. Wonderful. Can't wait to read them all. Yes something to live for. "

" I am now totally addicted to the Jack Reacher novels. Awesome and amazingly subtle. "

" This is the most recent Child book, which I bought in China when I ran out of something to read. I don't like to read books out of sequence and clearly I needed to read the previous book, "61 Hours" to understand parts of this one. This book gets 4 stars on Amazon and I have to admit that I didn't like it all that much. Much of the tension seems to involve various people driving along the straight highways of Nebraska, with no greenery to hide them. There were spots that were tense, but I sure got tired of trying to determine whose car was coming and how far away it was and how many minutes it was going to be before it got to a certain place. This book also contains more car theft than any other book I've read, with people just hot-wiring the most convenient car to use. Sorry, but this gets a thumbs down from me. "

" classic jack reacher novel. lots of action, a bit of mystery and the bad guys get it in the end. another enjoyable departure from reality. nice work mr. child! "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Barbara B. | 11/25/2013

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Grillo | 11/25/2013

" Somewhat weird. But thrilling to the very end. Halfway between a bad pulp novel, not taking itself too seriously and a gritty, dark thriller, taking itself entirely too seriously. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Edye | 11/17/2013

" I'm always amazed how he travels with only the clothes on his back. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Jose | 10/7/2013

" Good book with lots of action... although at the end he could've made the bad guys suffer a little bit more.... they got it easy... I was wondering why he never made it to Viriginia on time... now I know... "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Amanda | 9/7/2013

" You either like the Jack Reacher novels or you don't I think. It's a case of expectations. They're met every time, but those expectations need to be realistic about what you're reading... "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Alison | 6/10/2013

" I think this is my favourite Jack Reacher thus far .... "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Rebecca | 5/23/2013

" I love Jack Reacher. too bad they killed the movie versions with that dope Tom Cruise. But the books are delicious. the good guy always wins. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Christopher | 5/3/2013

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Dave | 10/20/2012

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Angie | 10/16/2012

" A very good Reacher novel. The story was very good and I particularly like that so many of the characters were jumping to the wrong conclusions and acting on them. "

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Val | 4/27/2012

" I should have been warned by the mist of testosterone that rose when I opened this book lent to Len by a friend. Jack Reacher is the new Chuck Norris. All I can say is that I now know how to disable an SUV while someone is driving it using only cutlery. "

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 John Worthington | 4/14/2012

" I like Lee Child books with his main character Jack Reacher. Child doesn't disappoint the reader by placing Reacher in an impossible situation trying to solve a towns old murder and keeping himself and everyone safe. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Jami | 1/30/2012

" Not quite like the Jack Reacher I remember, you know, larger than life, whip smart and compassionate in the end. Not one of my favorites but I truly love this series!! "
