The arrangement has so far worked well, but when Dan starts to question whether Sally has got her priorities right, the cracks in their marriage begin to appear.

Dan and Sally have everything Chloe wishes for in life - a happy marriage and a beautiful child. Dumped by her long-term boyfriend just weeks after the tsunami, she's been on a mission ever since to find the perfect father for the child she craves. " A sweet story about a group of friends, and their lives in England a few years after surviving the South Asian Tsunami. "

" This was a light but good read. Maybe not as well done as some of hers, but I would still recommend it. I have read most of Erica James books, she is an English author who places her books in English settings. She does very well with women who are past the 1st blush of romance & have some "life experience." Maybe that's why I like her. "

" It was reasonably good but slow at some points. "

" I really enjoyed everything about this. "

" As far as Erica James' books go, so far for me this has been the one that has been the most extreme rollarcoaster ride. So much so I simply couldn't put it down and ended up reading it at such a fast pace that I am re-reading it again. She kept me on edge to the point that I knew I couldn't get on with my Dissertation reading until I knew what happened, and I most certainly did not want to take a sneak peek at the end. Read it and I challenge you to close it after the first few chapters! "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Tracy | 1/9/2014

" This book was pretty good. It was a bit dramatic in all the ins and outs of the relationships, but was ok. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Lyndsey | 12/19/2013

" I loved this book and had a little cry at the end. It is so true that is always the little things that get in the way of life. a definate read. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Sally Hope | 12/13/2013

" Another good one of Erica James. Her books are feel-good easy reads for holidays and any time you want to dive into someone else's life for a while. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Eman14 | 12/8/2013

" the first half was amazing .....but the twist after that I don't know just couldn't help thinking these characters have changed in a weired way (not the separation of sally and Dan) but.... "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Olivia | 12/4/2013

" Quite readable and surprisingly unannoying and smug for a family-based book. But I couldn't see the point of the references to the tsanami - it was as if they had been put in afterwards to make the book more topical and to tug on a few more heartstrings. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Ozone-nut/ Zoe | 11/1/2013

" One of her better books. Not the greatest writing ever, but generally an easy, quick read, mostly believable characters, a good one to bury yourself in on a cold wet weekend when you don't want to have to use your brain too much. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Cathy | 8/21/2013

" It wasn't my favourite Erica James book but I did enjoy it. I liked the setting and characters. She does a believable romance book but mostly it's a book about people and their relationships. Peoples lives are always interesting -- even those with seemingly ordinary lives. "
