Imagine every space in this room filled with people, constantly being jostled and pushed. In the lower levels there is no quiet place. No peace. To a scrub, this room is paradise.

I drew a deep breath. I'd spoken more in one burst to this stranger whose room I'd invaded than anyone else in weeks. And with a single word he could alert the Pop Cops and send me to the Chomper. We stared at each other for a few heartbeats.

Before I could retreat, he said, 'My name's Riley Narelle Ashon. Any time you need peace, you're welcome to use my hideaway.'

Keep Your Head Down. Don't Get Noticed. Or Else.

I'm Trella. I'm a scrub. A nobody. One of thousands who work the lower levels, keeping Inside clean for the Uppers. I've got one friend, do my job, and try to avoid the Pop Cops. So what if I occasionally use the pipes to sneak around the Upper levels? Not like it's all that dangerous - the only neck at risk is my own. Until I accidentally start a rebellion and become the go-to girl to lead a revolution.

I should have just said no....

" This was my least favorite of the 4 Brown Bros. books that I've read (bks 2-4 and the novella in "Cherished") Ella and Cope were a good enough couple, but it was all just too sweet for me. The romance was again, sweet, and tame to the point of being boring IMHO. The storyline was decent and was enough to keep my interest, but this book just didn't really do it for me. If I wasn't so anxious to read Adrian's story, I probably would have stopped the series after this one. "

" I really enjoy the entire Brown Sibling series. I just started reading erotic novels and Lauren Dane is one great writer. Her characters are realistic, different, edgy with kindness. I love them all. If you are planning on reading- follow the series, you get to learn about the characters and fall in love with them. "

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Nick Grayson | 1/18/2014

" I found it lacking the kind of attention grabbing material I usually come across in the romance area and I'm not even sure why that was, but yeah the story was decent just didn't hold my imagination as much as most of them do. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Jenny | 1/10/2014

" Well of the Brown Sibling's series, this one was okay for me. I love how they both didn't jump into anything but just not as into it as the others. "

" Great to see another side of Cope. I have to say that Ben & Cope's father is a jerk and hope he comes around at some point. Love the Brown siblings. I still wonder what's Raven story is and why she is like she is. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Guilty Pleasures | 4/23/2012

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Nicole | 2/24/2012

" 2.5 more accurately. This book was fine, but the potential for something hot and sexy and thrilling fell to more traditional romance as a read. Nothing wrong with that, but it was a tad too angsty and Pollyanna for this series. I still enjoyed it and will be reading the next ones! "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Emily | 1/13/2012

"
