" Stink is back in another adventure! When his class learns about the planets, Stink is appalled to find out that Pluto has been downgraded to being a lowly dwarf planet and decides to stick up for the little guy of the solar system. Includes a fact page on each of the planets interspersed between chapters. "

" Ever since Pluto was demoted, I've spent a lot of time reviewing AV materials on the planets- trying to find ones that are up to date on this fact. So, I laughed when I realized this was the premise of the latest Stink adventure. As with all the Stink (and Judy Moody) titles, the story was fun, and enjoyable for multiple age groups. The audio productions are superb, and Nancy Cartwright is excellent! "

" Stink Moody is back and better than ever, trying to save Pluto from losing its status as a planet. Stink feels a certain kinship with Pluto as he is the smallest in his class as well and doesn't think anyone or anything should be picked on just because of their size. His class is divided on this problem of galactic proportions so the teachers tells them to organize their arguments and present them to the class. The class will vote and whoever wins will determine how their own class treats Pluto, no matter what the scientists say. As always the author tells a fun story that teaches the reader as well. This particular book has tons of information about the solar system and also demonstrates how a classroom debate might work. Some parents are turned off by the title characters name, but don't be. Stink (and Judy) Moody books area great for beginning chapter book readers. "

" Just finished reading this book to my 3rd graders to go along with solar system lessons. They loved it! Very funny to the kids. Very animated. I wanted to read a short fiction chapter book that had a science tie-in. There are some words like "fart" in the book but of course the kids love that. "

" Stink is out to prove that Pluto should still be a planet--a view I totally sympathize with! As he mounts his campaign we learn tons of facts about all the planets as well as the value of debate. Humor abounds as with all the Stink (and older sister Judy Moody) books. A fun and quick audiobook! "
