" In Searchof Mockingbird must be my all time favorie book.I love how Erini is so determine to give a letter from her mothers favorite author Harper Lee. I like how even after several difficult things that happen on her way, she still had enough courage to continue on to finf her mother favorite author Harper Lee. Erin difficult mission to find Harper Lee had gotten her close conneections to people such as Sedushia, and Enn. As the book continues I learn that anything is possible if you put your faith in it, and that if you have any determination nothing would stop you for achieving whats yours. "

" A truly touching book with unusual "circles of life" connections. Erin leaves her home in Minnesota on a quest to find and meet Harper Lee, the author of her mother's favorite book. Erin never knew her mother, so To Kill a Mockingbird was her only connection to her. The set of quirky characters whom Erin meets on the bus trip to Alabama are worth the read alone. It's definitely a "girl book"- full of angst and yearning for life connections. A terrific book! "

" A coming of age story about a young girl named Erin. When life moves too fast for her liking, she decided to pack a bag and hop the next bus to Monroebille, Alabama to visit her number 1 hero, Harper Lee, her only connection to her deceased mother. On the way, she meets a slew of interesting characters and her journey is just as much mental as it is physical. "

" I thought it was great...full disclosure, though, that I'm an incredibly easy mark for anything that includes someone who loves TKAM because I love it so much. I liked the story of her mother loving the book and what it meant to Erin, and I really liked the characters on the bus and how Erin used the lessons from Harper Lee to help her through her pilgrimage to Monroeville. Too many side stories are left unfinished, but I LOVED the encounter with "Nelle" in the diner! "
