"This is the first in the series The Immortals. This book penned by Jennifer Ashley is about the paranormal world. The story starts out with a witch (Amber) who goes to the warehouse where her sister was murdered by a Demon. While there she is confronted by the same demon who killed her sister. He intends on killing her next. Out of nowhere Adrian an Immortal jumps in and rescues Amber. The story revolves around Adrian looking for his lost brother for over 700 years. Amber helps him look and the become entangled in many adventurous battles along with falling madly in love with each other. It is a good story, I liked the characters especially Valerian. This series is written by different authors. They each wrote a book for the series. I enjoyed the writing style of Jennifer Ashley and will look forward to reading more of her work. Recommended reading for paranormal- paranormal erotica fans."

" Witch summons demon, immortal warrior comes too late to save her (and get some much needed information on his long lost brohter), but he does show up just in time to save her sister. They both feel the chemistry and for once in paranormal romance .. THERE'S NO FIGHT AGAINST IT..Don't get me wrong, a little denial is nice from time to time in romantic plots but it was a breath of fresh air to see not so much self inflicted tension because one of the characters are just too darn pigheaded. And of course this left more for the plot to thicken.. and boy did it. I liked it, can't wait to finish the series. "

" Better than I thought it would be, but still close to a complicated, but loose plot to surround a bunch of sex. Enough plot that I was entertained and not completely disgusted. "

" I loved the immortal,Adrian. A yummy man! Enjoyed the whole concept. I only meant to read while eating lunch but couldn't put story down until I finished. Needless to say, I'm on the prowl for the others in this series. "

" I'm glad I read this, only wondering why it took me so long to get to it! The story was a very good set up for the series with interesting characters and storyline. I hope the remainder books are just as good as I'm looking forward to continue to read about this world. "

" Beautiful and oh-so-romantic. Adrian is hot (as always, I recall that a hero from a PNR book is very lickable), and I just LOVE him. Well, him and his stubbornness. "

" Interesting start of a series about an Immortal looking for one of his brothers for over 700 years. He teams up with a witch to fight evil. A very good read but be prepared it is very erotic with a lot of details when you get to those scenes. LOL "
