That stammer. Those basset-hound eyes. That bone-dry wit. There has never been another comedian like Bob Newhart. In this, his first audiobook ever, Newhart gives us his brilliant and bemused twist on a multitude of topics, including flying, the trials of a family holiday in a Winnebago, and more serious subjects, such as golf. And, of course, there are side-splittingly funny stories from his life and career. Who else has a drinking game named after him? (Hi, Bob!)

This isn't a memoir like most memoirs. It's an audiobook only Bob Newhart could have conceived, with his unique worldview and irrepressibly wry humor. Oh, and there's a fair bit of plain silliness, too. Download and start listening now!

" Bob Newhart is very funny and very old, these facts are both evident in this book. "

" This book is a really wonderful read. Newhart presents himself as such a likeable guy, I was perfectly happy to wander with him as he negotiates the entertainment industry and builds a career. A bit of a disappointment, however, it that many of his routines are reprinted verbatim. So, if you are familiar with those, the book looses about 25% of its volume. "

" I listened to this book which is narrated by the author. I think that fact made it so much more authentic. Newhart is truly a funny, unassuming comic. Really a fun trip down memory lane. "

" Bob Newhart is great to listen to which I highly recommend doing with this book. While I'm sure the book would have still been good to read, I think listening to the audiobook in his own voice added something extra special to it. The book is part biography, part bits of some of his more popular routines. It's interesting and funny and was a thoroughly enjoyable read/listen. "
