It's official. Angela Clarke is in love - with the most fabulous city in the world. Fleeing her cheating boyfriend and clutching little more than a crumpled bridesmaid dress, a pair of Louboutins and her passport, Angela jumps on a plane, destination - New York City.

Holed up in a cute hotel room, Angela gets a New York makeover from her NBFJenny and a whirlwind tour of the city that never sleeps. Before she knows it, Angela is dating two sexy guys. And, best of all, she gets to write about it in her new blog (Carrie Bradshaw eat your heart out). But it's one thing telling readers about your romantic dilemmas; it's another figuring them out for yourself.

Angela has fallen head over heels for the Big Apple, but does she heart New York more than home?

" A very cute story, makes me want to run to New York for a vacation! "

" I did not like this book at all, it was a chore to finish and then i promptly removed it from my collection and passed it on, the mian charactor has no back bone, she is so confused and lost that its actually irritating, but as i had bought and paid for it i felt i had to read it, first and last book i have purchased without borrowing it from the library beforehand. "

" Well excerpt made me curious so downloaded a sample and got hooked into buying. Really loved first half more than entire book (did head down a too familiar Shopaholic-Takes-Manhattan type of chick lit). Sample was definitely the funniest part but did enjoy the book. Actually that one opening scene catching the soon-to-be-ex in the act well worth the price of the book and likely to become a real standout moment in chick lit. "

" This was so boring I couldn't even make myself finish it. Got halfway through then skipped to the end just so I could get rid of the book. And you don't hear me say that very often :S Got it with a magazine so at least I didn't pay fr it... "

" An excellent addition to the Chick-Lit pantheon. I can't wait to read more of her. "

" I normally don't read chick lit, but I picked this up because I recently left London for New York, like the main character Angela does. As it was a similar situation I was going through (although I didn't leave due to a cheating boyfriend), I was hoping this would prove the exception to chick lit. Unfortunately, it's the rule - cliched plotlines, frequent shopping, overabundance of stereotypes, and a man debate whose resolution becomes obvious long before the end. Even the descriptions of New York and London were lacking. Everything just seemed to fall into place for Angela too perfectly. Luckily it was a quick read (took me maybe a couple of hours), or else I probably wouldn't have bothered finishing it. "

" I loved this book, maybe even better then any shopaholic books. It was so cute and easy to read. I can't wait to read more by this author. Really makes me want to go to NewYork. "

" A fabulously good read. Not only is it funny but I love the intrigue and the looove triangle - PLEASE do have a go with this book and the rest in the series, is well worth it !! Enjoy !! "

" All I can say about this book is that unless you genuinely like the character Angela (which I did obviously) then you will find the book boring. The I Heart series is like reading a close friend's diary. I loved it because I loved Angela, Lindsey Kelk has done a wonderful job. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Felicia Julin | 6/28/2013

" This one was just mediocre. I only liked it slightly, not that much slight. I felt like it was trying too hard to be like the Shopaholic-serie by Sophie Kinsella. The good thing though, is at the end of the book, there's a list of places in NY that Lindsey recommends. "

" The descriptions of New York could make you fall in love with the city, too, though there were a few too many drink-til-you-puke scenes for my taste. This probably would appeal more to a younger audience. "

" I was definitely expecting more. Started with promise, but left me flat and wanting more. What I got was a few New York references that I may use when I go there. Simple story about a jilted Londoner trying to find herself in NYC. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Cilla | 1/8/2012

" Not as good as 'I heart Paris' but quite an enjoyable read. It's good to learn about Angela Clark's beginning and how she ended up in New York. As usual Lindsey's books are easy and fun to read. "
