Listener Opinions

" I don't want to write the same thing for each book so I will just say that it is another great, fun book in the series! "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 H3dakota | 2/12/2014

" I liked this one a bit more than the last couple. Finding out a bit about Hiccup's Mom for a change was one of my favorite parts. :D Hotshot is great fun & a nice addition to the characters. I also got a chuckle out of his one weakness, especially as I'm listening to these books in audio form, read by David Tennant. LOL "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Heather | 2/7/2014

" Poor Hiccup. He has his hands full, what with an impulsive (naughty) dragon, a bardigard (not just a bodyguard, but a bard as well, though this one has a horrible voice) who has it in for him, an imminent attack, and (of course!) a cameo by Alvin. Mostly very funny. Humongously Hotshot's story was rather sad, but it ended well, I think. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Mandi | 2/2/2014

" While this book was as well written as all the others in the series (AKA amazingly), it lacked action. It was a fairly relaxed book with no actual conflict and I found it a bit boring. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Emma | 1/20/2014

" These books are very cute. I wish they'd been out when I was 7 or 8. The names of the characters alone are enough to keep you reading, and the story of the littlest viking who is destined to be the leader of the tribe is both hilarious and inspiring. I really, really like these. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Porter | 1/17/2014

" this one was the best so far! "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Marni | 1/15/2014

" Hilarious! I laughed outloud. Of course, I appreciate potty humor and just plain old fashioned silliness. There is no historical accuracy or attempt at historical accuracy and, like any good fantasy, the good guys win against almost impossible odds by an unusual twist of luck. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Sarah | 12/22/2013

" Such a great series for kids! My five year old son just loves these books! He goes straight for them in the library. He did have some trouble with the double meaning of the title - he said when we finished "I liked it, but we didn't learn how to twist a dragon's tail." "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Carol | 12/11/2013

" This series is a must for kids & parents to enjoy together. Funny and adventurous with lots of great lessons about love, loyalty, friendship and family. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Afton Nelson | 11/18/2013

" The adventures continue in crazy, crude, viking fashion. I do love Big Boobied Bertha. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Sri | 11/18/2013

" I never knew this series was so interesting. Especially bc Alan the treacherous returns. I don't know when he will meet his end. He mysteriously seems to escape death. I hope he ends after a long time though. I don't want this series to end so fast. "

Tetap bikin ngakak. "
