" This was a hard book to read because it was so boring for me. It didn't get "good" till the end. I kept reading it because Logan had read it. :) "

" What I like best about these books are the myriad dragon species that the author details. It's always fun to read about a new dragon species, and especially their little bios which was amusing in their own way. This one was a great read too--Hiccup goes off haring on an adventure with Camicazi in an attempt to steal the-vegetable-that-cannot-be-named (AKA, potato) from a fearsome viking tribe, all in an attempt to cure his friend Fishlegs. It was as funny as always and the end had a nice twist to it. 4/5 stars. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Miss Clark | 3/29/2011

" I read these after watching the feature film from Dreamworks, which I greatly enjoyed. However, they are two very different things, no more so apparent than in the vastly different portrayals of Toothless. So, be aware of that.

The books are amusing and easy reads for kids 7 and up. "
