Publisher Description

Having sold their large city house, Gordon and Jan set up home in a wild, lonely Cornish valley with dreams of creating a special type of holiday retreat. With no house yet built, and still living in their caravan, the family now find themselves on the point of failure.

Life beside the small stream is primitive and danger lies ahead, but there is always laughter, a little mischief and a sprinkling of romance. There are problems to surmount, and improvisation is often called for, but they are determined to succeed. Unafraid of risk, the family continues on their adventure with no certainty of success - but every certainty of excitement.

"FABULOUS! FABULOUS! FABULOUS! What an interesting riveting read. I must confess that the only reason I even picked this up was because the pastor at the church we attended for a little over a year said it was a load of rubbish and not to read it. Naturally I was curious and I read it, great "story"."

" This was enjoyable tosh. Though Dan Brown is not the greatest writer in the world, and some situations and ideas don't really hold up to scrutiny, he can tell a story better than most. This is not a book to provide great insights into the human condition, but it is fast and fun. "

" Awful load of crap! I had a dentist take care of three cavities the week I read this and felt the dentist was far nicer than Dan Brown was with me. As a devout Catholic all I read was lies upon lies of his tripe. F. "

" As my third Dan Brown (stupidly I read them out of sequence) I enjoyed this, but not as much as Angels and Demons - I'm starting to find some of it a bit formulaic. I liked the twist at the end and I really still like Robert Langdon as a character. "
