" If you're looking for quick, gruesome, gory, descript horror stories, this is the book for you. I didn't count them but there's alot of very short stories that work great for reading on quick work breaks. I'm gonna drag this puppy back out near Halloween. "

" It has what I like in a short story collection: variety. Some of the stories are genuinely quite cringey, particularly the first one. Brilliant. Really enoyed it. "

" Exactly the kind of mad nasty crazy gory bloody and occasionally hilarious stories one would expect from the author of Afraid. This book was lots of fun, great cover art too. I'm so glad I was able to find this at the library. I highly recommend this one. "

" This book contains short 'horror' stories. If you have read other Jack Kilborn novels or novellas, you may be disappointed. A lot of the stories were magazine rejects and I can see why. Some of the stories are ok, and many left a lot to be desired... I finished the story saying "that's the end?" "

  • 1 out of 51 out of 51 out of 51 out of 51 out of 5 Kenni | 9/23/2013

" I usually like horror short stories but a lot of these stories were too gross even for my taste. A lot of unnecessary perversion and gore that were not pertinent to the plot but more of a filler. I didn't even bother to finish this book just not my taste. I read 75% of it and had enough. "
