They were a little to predictable and boring. This last book redeemed itself. Although it follows the same pattern as the other books in the series the story in this book was much more interesting. " This final volume of the Sweet Magnolias was much more interesting than the last two. Raylene, a minor character in the last two books is an abused wife who suffers from agoraphobia. Her struggle to overcome this condition with the help of a "too good to be true" man makes for inspiring reading. "
