"I'm giving this anthology 5 stars due to the last story in it. The first two are good. The third, by Thomas-Sundstrom is my favorite and called Bright Star. It's a feel-good paranormal, believe it or not, and quite magical. I'll confess I read it twice."

" I love the Harlequin Nocturne series. They are for the most part very well written. The short stories are good for when you just can't concentrate on a longer read. Occasionally they'll introduce you to a new series or be a side story from a favorite series. "

About Susan Krinard

Susan Krinard never dreamed of becoming a writer. Trained as an artist with a BFA in Illustration from the California College of Arts and Crafts, she first considered the possibility when a friend read a short story she’d written—“Fan Fiction” based on the television show Beauty and the Beast—and suggested she try writing a romance novel. Since then, Susan has written more than a dozen fantasy romance novels and several novellas, including Kinsman in the New York Times bestseller Out of This World, and has begun a new fantasy series with LUNA Books, which launched with Shield of the Sky in 2004.
