"Gena Showalter's story "The Darkest Angel" proves a delightful read pairing the bad girl/good guy scenario with a twist. Especially empowering. Maggie Shayne's story is also a creepy good read with ghosts and a hint of magic romance. The biggest disappointment was Susan Kinard's story that seemed somewhat rushed but as an anthology on the whole kudos to all three authors for strong contributions. My personal favorite is the Darkest Angel by Gena Showalter."

" I love angel stories, so this one had me captivated. I love Gena Showalter and all of her works, so I knew I would enjoy this story as well. There were times when the "cat and mouse" game got a little annoying but isn't that how most romance stories go? "I love him, no I don't, yes, I really do. Nope, no I don't." and so on. But since there was an angel, I couldn't bring myself to mind, I was too busy drooling over him. "
