Publisher Description

Not even his mother's funeral can convince self-proclaimed party boy Zach Johnson to put aside his flamboyant ways or even think about settling down. He is who he is, and no one can make him change. But when he meets Aaron Paulson, his brother's best friend, Zach has to step back and re-evaluate his perceptions of love and family.

Aaron insists he's falling for Zach, but Zach is certain Aaron sees him as just another project - one more lost soul for the idealistic Aaron to save. Zach isn't broken; he doesn't need to be fixed. Aaron's insistent, though, and Zach finds himself tempted. Zach wants to believe in happily-ever-after, but can he let go of his pride long enough to see Aaron's heart?

"I really liked this book - despite the getting-on-my-nerves-Kimmie:) I liked it so much, that now I'll read the other books by this author, starting with Nate and Jake's story."

" 3.75 Stars An enjoyable romantic read. It's a love at first sight, and then one decides to run for the hills. I found this story much more believable then some of this author's other stories. Less sap ad more conflicts. Plus the character Zach. His inner dialogue is hilarious. "

" Aaron is a sweetheart who definitely needs to learn to say no. I liked Zach, too. I do think that Aaron fell for Zach a bit too quickly, but all-in-all, I enjoyed this one. "

" Reviews seem all over the board on this one. And that's how I felt after reading it. Some great moments, but some sugary ones too, and some of the sex scenes just seemed like literary crutches. "

About Cardeno C.

Cardeno C.—CC to friends—is a hopeless romantic who wants to add a lot of happiness and a few “awwws” into a reader’s day. Writing is a nice break from real life as a corporate type and volunteer work with gay rights organizations. Cardeno’s stories range from sweet to intense, contemporary to paranormal, long to short, but they always include strong relationships and walks into the happily-ever-after sunset.
