"Loved this book! Very similar to "Love & Logic". I can't wait to put this plan into action. I have a few other books by this author and I really enjoy his down to earth attitude. He states that yes, children are an inconvenience, but we're here as parents to help them become the best adults they can. I had to laugh (and agree) when he said the older children are willing to "sacrifice" the youngest by sending them downstairs to the parents to ask for something to delay going to bed. It is so true in our home! This is one I'll be buying."

" I enjoyed this book. It includes a large section with answers from Dr. Leman on common every day situations most parents encounter with his perspective on how to handle each. I liked the fact that the advice is written by a christian psychologist. "

" I think this is a great book. It has concrete answers on how to deal with specific situations. It covers everything from sleep habits, to curfew, allowance, sibling fighting, bad behavior while you are on the phone, in the car, whining, etc. I would recommend this book to any parent! "

" I'm going to try it...seems very "point blank", but since I am mothering Joshua, there really needs to be a book written specifically about him. If I survive his childhood, perhaps I'll write it! "

" I love Dr. Leman (saw him speak before too) but this book wasn't all that I expected. Maybe I should have spaced out my reading: Mon-Fri instead of reading it all at once. I think I will read again. His parenting techniques make so much sense, though! "

" This is a relatively short book that is easy to get through with no nonsense advice regarding discipline. His suggestions can easily be applied to most difficulties that arise in raising any age child. It fits with the 'love and logic' strategy and makes a lot of sense. "
