There's more than her heart at stake....

As the only human to survive vampire infection, Milagro de Los Santos has become quite a celebrity among the blood-drinking elite. Too bad the perks of her condition - increased strength, super-fast healing - don't pay her condo fees. There are other complications too. She's feeling guilty about her fling with enigmatic Vampire Council member Ian Ducharme, and pining for her ex-fiancé, Dr. Oswald Grant - the fabulous man whose kiss changed her life. It's when Milagro - irked by Ian's attentions to his neighbor - travels to London and enjoys a sexy flirtation of her own, that the blood really hits the fan. Suddenly, those around her are dying gruesome deaths and Milagro's being interrogated.

Who would kill to set her up as a murder suspect? Milagro just wants to turn back the clock and have another chance to make things right, but no sooner has she escaped to Oswald's ranch than an accident obliterates her memory. Will the murderer come after her now? And will amnesia spark a romantic do-over with Oswald - or will she make all the same mistakes before she ever gets to say I do?

" Last in series, ok, but darker, not as fun "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Laurie Bongiorno | 2/4/2014

" Somehow I got ahold of this book without realizing it was #4 in a series, too bad because it was so funny and good. I still followed well enough to enjoy it, in fact it kept me up all night, but I felt there must have been a prior book while reading. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Betty Ann | 1/30/2014

" Hmmm.... Haven't read anymore in the series or anything else by this author. This was fun read, maybe border line silly, but the characters, even though kind of over the top- they were still likeable, believeable, funny and smart enough. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Sarah Allison | 1/21/2014

" Don't judge this book by the cover! It is seriously funny, interesting, at times "spicy" and all in all very entertaining. This is one of the better border-line romance novels I've read. It pretty much has only a few short sex scenes, maybe only 2? so it is so far away from romance books even though the cover makes you think otherwise. The heroine is so enticing, you want to read the rest of this series if you were silly like me and picked this book off the shelf without knowing it is the last in a series. Highly recommend for a fun read. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Esonja | 1/19/2014

" Not as funny as the previous in the series, but very satisfying. Milagro is a source of comfort, really--with her pluck, her expressiveness, and her knack for relationships. I probably missed Edna as much as she did! "

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Annemarie | 1/14/2014

" What I thought..Geez why am I reading this?! I read the 1st 3 in this series a long time ago and finally got around to #4...yikes!! Milagro comes across as a passive aggressive whiner, I kept thinking "just get over it"! :( maybe I have been reading too many kick A** female characters??... "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Amanda | 12/22/2013

" I really liked this series as a whole. This book was witty, fun and a perfect ending to the series. I loved how we got to see and truly understand why Mil was the way she was with men. She finally made the right choice for who she is not just who she thinks she should be. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Cindi (cheesygiraffe) | 11/28/2013

" It took me a few chapters to get into this book. Mostly because I'd forgotten a lot about this series. Milagro was herself even with amnesia although she was a little more obedient. I believe all she's been through really finally made her grow up. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Marge | 11/17/2013

" This definitely was a fitting end for the story of Milagro de los Santos. She finally got the type of man she wanted and the type of wedding that she wanted. I totally enjoyed every book in this series. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Jessica | 8/14/2013
