Danielle Crosby had a body to die for. A body she sold to the highest bidder. But she ended up paying for it with her life. When a prostitute's body is found lifeless, mutilated and brutally raped, DCI Annie Carr has never seen anything like it and never wants to again. Retired DCI, now consultant, Kate Burrows has plenty of experience when it comes to murder - after all she caught the Grantley Ripper and broke the biggest paedophile ring in the South East.

She is determined to help put the killer behind bars. But whoever it is won't be easily caught. And when another girl's body is found, even more horrifically disfigured than the last, it's clear the killer is just warming up....

In a ruthless world where everyone's out for themselves, Annie and Kate must dig deep if they hope to catch a callous serial killer who knows no limits and makes no mistakes. For some, prostitution is seriously big business. But how many people will pay the ultimate price?

Utterly compelling, Hard Girls is a gripping and disturbing thriller that will have you hooked until the very last moment.

" Spring Bible Study book. Almost called it quits after the first two chapters. But kept at it and it was worth it. Some of her points I had read or knew of, but some were brand new to me and, and it is always good to be reminded. She has a book that is similar to this geared to teen girls that I am curious about for Haley. One of my favorites from the book, "Fear drives, love leads." How true! "

" Felt a bit repetitive for the first half, but picked up in the last half with some wise counsel in a very real, personal voice. "

" It took me several weeks to finish this wonderful book because I read many of the chapters multiple times. At times, this book seemed like the words were stolen from my personal journals. I related to MANY of the experiences talked about by the author and loved how she always pointed to believing the Truth of who we are In Christ. Very relatable and wonderful. My copy is now heavily high-lighted and will be read again!! "

" This book was what I needed to read just now. It was a blessing a thousand times over. Genuine. Achingly real. Empathetic...and yet she pointed to the King of Peace in all. I would recommend to any woman who is seeking Christ. "

" I greatly appreciated this book. Often it felt like the author was writing words directly from my brain. I'm going to put the book away for a bit, but I plan on coming back to it in a couple of months. I'm confident a second read-through will be beneficial. "

" I've been telling people about this book constantly since I started reading it. I am a Good Girl in the bone, and this book highlighted truths that God has already taught me through experience, as well as lots of things I still need to claim for myself. It's freeing, encouraging, and life-changing. "

" LOVE, love this book. I wasn't raised to be this "good girl," but I know my mom was. And there are naturally some things that can apply to just about every girl; we all enter marriage and motherhood with expectations, and we can all get trapped in this kind of "good girl" thinking. Highly recommend. "
