" After his first two Halo novels, both being superb, I had high hopes for Nylund's third, but I was disappointed. The story didn't really seem all that interesting to me and the (SPOILERS!) Spartan IIIs seemed wimpy and boring. Not as bad as The Flood but definitely the second worst out of the series. "

" Man, I love Eric Nylund, I really think he does the Halo world justice. He brings the characters to life and immerses you in their world. Spartans never die! "
