Publisher Description

I have been impressed and directed by the Lord to do a booklet on grace. Many things get accomplished when this happens. One of the main things is that he teaches me and gives me greater revelation and understanding about grace. With this understanding, I not only can write effectively but also learn more about my Father and what grace really is. I believe that this is one of the most misunderstood terms in the Church today not only with the followers of Jesus, but also the ministers of the gospel. Let us take this journey of grace together so we all may be partakers of his grace and givers of that grace also.

"Grace Coddington, was first introduced as the Creative Director of Vogue in the documentary, "The September Issue". Since then Grace has become a leading figure in the fashion world along side Editor-in-Chief Anne Wintour. In this memoir Grace takes on a journey through her childhood from how she belong her modeling career and how she came to be in American Vogue. Grace is probably one of my greatest inspiration in the fashion world. As someone who wants to pursue working in the fashion industry it was really refreshing to see that there is someone so genuine still out there as a primary figure in the industry. After seeing "The September Issue" I knew I had to get my hands on this book. Overall this book was even better than I expected, and I was very pleased with the genuine and simple writing, it really felt as if Grace was write there guiding you through a journey of her unique life."

" I was pleasantly surprised by this memoir-it was both interesting and gossipy without being mean spirited. It was actually a pleasure to read a memoir from some one who loved what they did. "

" 3.5 stars! Like pretty much everyone else who watched 'The September Issue', I too became intrigued by Grace Coddington & was happy to discover that she wrote a memoir. I really enjoy reading memoirs & hers was interesting, charming, well-written & I loved the bonus of her drawings. "

" This book was an interesting read in terms of the author's connection to the fashion world, first as a model, then working with Calvin Klein and Vogue. Her drawings peppered the pages with images of fashion connections like Anna Wintour. "

" I feel this memoir was a great list of people Grace worked with - designers, photographers, people at Vogue, etc. Not much of her life events. "

" This was UTTERLY LOVELY. It made me want to be an artist. I love how the book feels like multimedia with the pictures, drawings and text. And Ms. Coddington has worked VERY hard (opposite of Patty Boyd's terrible memoir) and it makes for a great read. "
