Publisher Description

Their destiny is to fix history. Their dream is to get home.

When you live in a house that's really a gateway between past and present, you have to be ready for anything. It's a painful fact the Kings have faced since moving to Pinedale eight days ago. Desperately trying to rescue their mother from an unknown time and place, brothers Xander and David have lunged headlong into the chaos of history's greatest--and most volatile--events. But their goal has continually escaped their grasp.

And worse: Finding Mom is only a small part of what they must do, thanks to the barbaric Taksidian. His ruthless quest to sieze their house and its power from them has put not only the family, but all of mankind, in grave danger.

Somehow, the key to it all hinges on Uncle Jesse's words to the boys: "Fixing time is what our family was made to do." But how can they fix a world that has been turned updisde down--much less ever find their way home?

At long last, the secrets of the house and the King family are revealed in the stunning conclusion to this epic series.

"So... the final one in the series (for now). It was really good and I really enjoyed the spiritual elements in this one and it wasn't obviously spirtiual but I did appreciate it. I was hoping that in the last book that they would do more time hopping and end up in some other periods of history, but maybe that is why the series is only partially done at this point. The idea of time travel has always seemed to mess with my brain, but I think because this was a book written for kids that I was starting to be able to wrap my mind around the different possibilities. I have always wanted my own time machine... but unlike the books I wouldn't want to change anything in history I just want to be an innocent bystander that merely observes these other moments in history and time."

" I'm not normally big on the fantasy genre, but the premise of the first book got my attention, and then it totally sucked me in. It's a neat story, I was often holding my breath at the suspense, and the ending in the very last book was touching. I read this series in the dark in my kids' room while I waited for them to fall asleep (during a challenging sleep phase), listening to Peace Like a River by Chris Rice, and somehow the music perfectly suited the story. The two are now forever linked in my mind, so when I hear the music, I think of the story and get chills. "

" To put it simply, Whicked awesome! I freakin loved it! Dreamhouse Kings has been an amazing series and Frenzy somehow wrapped the whole adventure up while still giving us hope that just maybe Liparulo will add more books to this series. I can only hope he does! Mr. Liparulo if you keep writing books for this series Ill keep buying them. "

" This book was good. But I have to admit that I got kind of bored with the series after waiting to read all five books. If you're going to read the Dreamhouse Kind Series, I suggest getting all the books at once so you can get from the beginning of the story to the end quickly. (Otherwise, you'll just be frustrating when you read an entire book and realize only 2 days have past in the plot.) "
