Sassy, savvy, smart-mouthed bounty hunter Stephanie Plum is back in her most thrilling adventure yet! This time she's on the trail of revenge-seeking waitress Maxine Nowicki, who's wanted for theft, extortion, and bail-jumping. Those who have seen Maxine keep turning up dead, and that's the least of Stephanie's problems. She's also dealing with an archrival bounty hunter and an enemy who favors firebombs. The only ones on Stephanie's side are a nutty grandma, an ex-hooker, and a transvestite rock star, plus of course, her loyal hamster Rex. Stephanie's previous escapades have been chronicled in One for the Money, Two for the Dough, and Three to Get Deadly. Download and start listening now!

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Jess | 2/9/2014

" Funny and engaging comedy! Interesting (relateable but completely unrealistic) characters, bizarre and entertaining plot line. Certainly following a formula, but it works. "

" And the posse grows. The newest addition, Sally, is quite the character. I love the images I get thinking about Stephanie, Lula, Grandma, and Sally at the casino in Atlantic City. I am finally gratified with Joe and Stephanie's relationship and am left looking forward to the next chapter in their on-again, off-again relationship! I got through this book faster than any of the others - maybe it's because I was laid up after having my appendix out. "

" This might be my favorite Stephanie Plum yet. She and Morelli made some actual progress in their "relationship," the case was interesting and more off-beat than usual (but somehow a bit more realistic?), and I think I laughed out loud about three times while reading it on the train! "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Michelle | 5/15/2011

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Jennifer | 5/3/2011

" Okay, so Stephanie isn't exactly following protocol... and she is still a novice fumbling around...

What makes her so endearing is she is so real. She says the stuff we think about, we fear, we dread... She is us. We live vicariously through her... "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Mark | 5/1/2011

" These books are ok. reasonably entertaining, occasionally funny, but not great. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Amber | 4/29/2011

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 R. Francis | 4/29/2011

" Possibly the best of the series up to this point. Hope Sally comes back. I like how Stephanie is frequently at risk at home; often crime novel protagonists seem bizarrely safe at home despite the "bad guys" knowing who they are. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Kirsten | 4/27/2011

" This funny "numbers" series follows Stephanie Plum, Pacifist bountyhunter, and her dilemmas, trials and relationships. Each book is light and fluffy, not meant for seriousness, but not meant for the overly serious either. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Lauren | 4/22/2011

" These are still fun and quick reads. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Amanda | 4/17/2011

" I liked that reader of the first three books so much better. This reader changed her Stephanie Plum's personality to be more aggressive and bitter than the first three. If someone let me borrow the next ones I might continue, but they aren't worth finding on my own. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Annette | 4/17/2011

" Read review of "One for the Money". They're all basically the same. "
