Four-Card Draw
Gambler Allen Ring won the Red Rock Ranch in a poker game, and it was years before he visited the place. But a man was murdered there some time ago and the killing is still unresolved. With Ring's arrival, a delicate balance of power and resentment is disturbed, and to solve the mystery and claim his property he may have to play one more game...for the highest stakes of all.

Get Out of Town
It was the first real decision that 14-year-old Tom Fairchild ever made; his mother sent him to town to hire a hand for the round up. Ever since his father died, he has helped his mother keep the ranch going, and for years they have always taken on the same men. But now Tom has hired Riley, a mysterious drifter and former convict. No one thinks it is a good idea, and soon even Tom begins to doubt the wisdom of his choice. Something is afoot on the Fairchild ranch, forces that have been building since the death of Tom's father will lead to an explosive crisis.

" OKay, I really enjoyed the dramatized short story that was an hour long. However, it has very little to do with the 23 page short story it's based upon. General plot is the same but all the details are changed. hhhmmm Of the two... the dramatized version was better. "
