Publisher Description

Welcome back to Virgin River with the books that started it all …

Reverend Noah Kincaid moved to Virgin River to reopen an abandoned church he bought on eBay. Like Noah, the place is a little empty inside, but all it may need is some loving care …

The young widower arrives ready to roll up his sleeves and build a place of worship and welcome, but he needs some help. And the Lord works in mysterious ways.

With her tight shirts and short skirts, pastor’s assistant is not a phrase that springs to mind when Noah meets brassy, beautiful Alicia Baldwin. The former exotic dancer needs a respectable job so she can regain custody of her children. And Noah can’t help but admire her spunk and motherly determination.

Noah and Alicia are an unlikely team to revitalize a church, much less build a future. The couple has so many differences, but in Virgin River anything is possible, and happiness is never out of the question.

"I've enjoyed every book I've read in this series, and this one doesn't break that streak. While the entire series tends to have a somewhat spiritual/inspirational feel to it, this one is more overtly religious - kind of hard for it not to be, with the hero being a Presbyterian minister. It doesn't come across at all preachy though, and in fact I know quite a few people who would have a much better opinion of organized religion if more ministers took some lessons from Noah! The series is getting somewhat predictable, but in a good way - maybe a better word would be reliable. I always have a pretty good idea what to expect when I start reading, and I know I'll have a case of the warm and fuzzies when I finish the book. Definitely a series I look to when I need a mood-lifter."

" This has to be one of my favorites in the series as of yet. Noah and Ellie are wonderful. Noah will have his curse jar filled before he knows it and Noah and Ellie's reason for her not playing at the wedding was funny. The vision of it makes me laugh. Poor Vanni, thanks goodness Ellie came through. "
