Publisher Description

Hildreth House isn't like other mansions. One warm night in early spring, 14 people entered Hildreth House's labyrinthine halls to partake in diabolical debauchery. When the orgy was over, the slaughter began. The next morning, 13 of the revelers were found naked and butchered. Dismembered. Mutilated. But the 14th body was never found. The screams have faded and the blood has dried, but the house remains - watching.

Now five very special people have dared to enter the infamous house of horrors. Who - or what - awaits them? And who will live to tell Hildreth House's ghastly secrets?

"Edward lee's version of a haunted house story. 7 pages in a dude slits his own throat. Just gets better from there. In case you are wondering, I'm 34 with an 8 year old and twins on the way, but i still listen to metal and read weird books. My wife asked me if I was a devil worshiper one day. Lol!"

" Lee gone 'literary'. Amazing novel that places a writer in the midst of mystery, sex, and violence. You won't be able to turn the pages quick enough. Highly recommended. "

" I know Lee is a love him or hate him kind of writer. This was my first exposure to him and I must say I enjoyed it. There is a heavily waited sexual overtone her but nothing that would approach pornographic. I did get a little tired of him describing everyone's genitals as "their sex." "

" This was my first book by Lee, and I wasnt impressed. It was an unusual story, and fairly well written. But I just found the book to be not so entertaining. I was expecting a lot more from the story. "

" I enjoyed this book, but I sure like Lee's private press books much better. This took me forever to read, but I've been busy and haven't had the time to read. It's still a great story, but I think I'll save my money for his private press books. "

" Every book I'm lucky to find is always a good read, he writes fast, from the 1st page your off, with wit (even if twisted) & his vision is so far from anything out there. If u enjoy horror that isn't cookie cutter with bite Lee is your guy "

" Probably the most well written Ed Lee book I have read. The prose actually flows and this books has a plot and a story. Filled with enough grusex for most of us but will fall way short of the mark for fans of only his early beyond OTT work. "

" Beautifully grotesque in places, Flesh Gothic is a great mysterious novel which echoes some themes Lee has written in past books: rich owner of mansion, Hell, sex, gore, and drugs. Unlike past books, he gives it a paranormal spin. Great introductory book to Lee. "
