In the sooty blackness of a Tucson alley, Rim Fannin got word that twenty heavily guarded freight wagons were traveling by night toward Tubac. Still bitter over his father’s murder, Rim takes a job as a mule skinner with White Mountain Freight, suspecting its owner, John Romaine, of having a hand in his father’s death. About the Author

Les Savage Jr. (1922–1958) was a writer from age seventeen and a contributor to pulp magazines for a number of years. In addition he penned over twenty books. A few of his better known titles are Treasure of the Brasada, Silver Street Women, and The Royal City. Films based on his writings include Return to Warbow, Black Horse Canyon starring Joel McCrea, and The Hills of Utah, starring Gene Autry.

About the Narrator

Buck Schirner’s professional career has primarily been on stage as a character actor. He is currently active in the theater scene in Philadelphia. Buck also appears in the independent film In the Woods.
