Join Logos Bible Study as we continue the story of redemption. As told by Dr. Bill Creasy, Israel falls into the cruel bondage of slavery in Egypt. And it is no accident: God had said to Abraham 500 years earlier that his descendants would be enslaved and mistreated four hundred years.

Follow Dr. Creasy as we meet Moses, one of the Bible's great characters; witness amazing miracles; review the Exodus and the Ten Commandments; and discuss the building of the Tabernacle - a physical structure that enables sinful man to gain access to an infinitely holy God.

" I recommend this book. It was not a pleasure read for me. It was down right tough to get through. But I took a great deal of appreciation away for the jewish community and their plight and fight for Israel. I have a new found respect and admiration for these people. I know I am not selling this book very well. It left me wanting even more clarification, and more details of their lives. It left me so grateful for my own life, my freedoms, rights, and liberties. It is a valuable read. "

" One of those books that has stayed with me forever and helped me understand Israel's beginnings. A teacher once told me, "An author can tell you or show you." And Uris shows us with his rich characters and fascinating story. "

" Uris is a great storyteller, but this book could have been more enjoyable if it were half it's length IMHO "

" Before reading this, I thought no books should ever be banned. This book made me reconsider this and that somewhere, someone should ban this crap. I don't actually believe in bans, but this book was horrible. I would have abandoned it if I had not been forced to read it for school. This is the kind of crap that turns people off of reading. I cannot think of a way to write more strongly that you should never read this book. "

" This was so romantic, but fairly sketchy when it came to historic facts. I think the word is "biased". That being said, the Holocaust descriptions and that part of the plot were particularly gripping. "

" This is a book I have read a few times now. I seem to return to it every few years. It always amazes me that so much changes while so much more stays the same. As i get older, I learn to appreciate even more the faith of the people depicted in this book. "

" Yet another probable read whose memory is clouded by seeing the movie. Interesting that Leon Uris sides with the Catholic peasants in "Trinity" but with the Jewish settlers in this book. Date read is a guess. "
