Publisher Description

Now that Pauline Esmeralda Simone-Thierry von Cant has been rescued from Castle Cant by her half-sister and former maidservant, Lucy, the real adventure begins. For there are forces that want to tear Pauline and Lucy apart.

In their land, a war rages over chewing gum. The nobles enjoy it, and the revolutionaries want to destroy it. With bounty hunters all around, the girls must be careful if they want to reach the Outlands in time to stop the corrupt gum trade. But hot on their heels is Lucy's arch nemesis: the dreadful Vladimir Orloff.

Listeners will thoroughly enjoy this witty tale of a land torn apart by chewing gum.

"Part 2 of the trilogy, every bit as good as the first with even more kooky and likeable characters. Still wouldn't recommend it even though I loved it because the publishers pulled the plug on publishing the third book in the series. Who wants to read two fat books and never know the ending?"

" This still carried on some of the humor of the previous series, but it sort of became redundant. We have another discovery of birth origin, this time from the supposed princess. I think things could have diverged a little bit. "
