Publisher Description

Zara and Nick are soul mates, meant to be together forever. But that’s not how things have worked out. For starters, well, Nick is gone. He’s been taken to some mythic place for warriors called Valhalla, where Zara and her friends might be able to get him back. It’s just not going to be easy. Meanwhile, Bedford needs its warriors more than ever, since a group of evil pixies is devastating the place, with teens going missing every day. An all-out war seems imminent. But even if Zara and her friends can find the way to Valhalla, there’s that other small problem: Zara’s been pixie kissed. When she finds Nick, will he even want to leave with her? Especially considering she hasn’t turned into just any pixie . . . She’s Astley’s queen.

"Hands down the best book in the series so far. Much more realistic ((well, as realistic as you can get, considering this is PIXIES (and other varies mythical creatures) we're talking about)) and well written than when the series just started. Looking forward to the the next installment! "

" I liked it OK, but it was a little too adolescent for me. The dialog was pretty immature, I guess that's too be expected with YA books and I think the main character is still pretty selfish even though they try and justify it in the book. A fun story idea and I enjoyed it enough to finish it. "

" The developing love triangle between Nick, Astley, and Zara is compelling storytelling. The strength of the bond between the friends is the glue that drives the story. Norse Mythology, betrayal, impending war, etc. makes the next book in the series a must read. "

" By far the best in the series! The silliness of Zara is still there, but toned down as she starts maturing more and more through all sorts of trips around the world, wounds, losses, and, of course, the eternal quest to save Nick from Valhalla... "
