About H. A. Derosso

H. A. DeRosso (1917–1960) was an American author known for his pulpy noir Western novels and short stories. He began writing short stories in high school, publishing his first in Street & Smith’s Western Story Magazine in 1941. In just a few short years, he became a full-time writer until his death in 1960, penning classic Westerns such as .44 and The End of the Gun.
