" I love erotic fairy tales so when I found this book I was soooo happy! This book reevaluates some of our fairy tale classics like "Beauty and the Beast" and "Goldilocks and the Three Bears" and gives them a lovely devilish twist. The only thing I wish is that I hope more and more libraries begin to provide this type of books to its patrons. I feel that there is nothing wrong with being a fan of erotica and that it should be more readily available to its fan. Yes, this is a side note, but just wanted to say what was on my mind. Enjoy! "

" Some of these stories would be rated at 4 stars, but some of them got more than a little ridiculous about the feminist polemics. It IS possible to make the point without bludgeoning someone with it. "

" This is the book that made me switch from comtemporary erotica to fantasy erotica. Make sure you read this one in private! "

" I'm definitely in the minority it seems, in that I don't really have much good to say about this book. At times both clinical (in description) and sanctimonious (in tone), it felt like more of an editorial on how modern women are shallow and that we (women) would have much more satisfying lives if we only threw away our make-up. "

" I was not a fan of this book at all. I only finished it because I was using it for a challenge. There are several different short, erotic stories contained within this book, and most of them were just not to my liking. I found myself skimming through most of them. I'd expected to enjoy this book because each story is framed as a different fairy tale, but it wasn't quite what I'd expected. I'm not a huge fan of this genre, either, though, so take my review and rating with a grain of salt. "

" I don't usually read erotic stories, but I love fairy tales. I found these stories very original and each one is about a different aspect or type of sexuality. My two favorites are "Mirror on the Wall," which addresses the superficiality of modern culture, and "The Ugly Duckling," where the "ugly" one ends up the happiest in love. "

" I found this appealing when people recommended it over 50 shades of grey. Certainly spicy! "

" some of the stories were pretty good, but some were disappointing. beauty and the beast was not a good opening story it was gross "
-

" It was okay. I would of liked the stories to be a bit longer. "

" Couldn't get into it at all. i had to stop reading it. "

" Interesting twists on the fairy tales - especially when it contradicts the current ones. I have to say some of the stories are not that erotic in terms of steamy scenes. The ideas and suggestions may be erotic, but most of the scenes aren't hot enough to be good erotica for me! I'm greedy, I know ;) "

" I wish I could give this book a 4.5 because it was awfully close to perfect. However, a couple of the stories were a little bit preachy, and people don't read erotica to get a moral (usually). All in all, though, most of the stories were fantastic, and I highly recommend it for all women. "

" I thought all and all it was a good read. Nancy Madore had a great idea of sexing up the fairy tales we all knew from childhood. It had some amazing stories and some that could of been better. Overall I enjoyed it. "

" I really enjoyed these erotic versions of the popular fairy tales. I definitely plan on reading more of her books. Anyone who likes to read erotica would probably enjoy this book. "

" just silly "
-

Jessica | 8/28/2013
" Erotic this book is not. While some stories had the beginnings for an enticing story, they ultimately fell flat. Truly disappointing. "
-

Bree | 8/9/2013
" Maybe I'm just to used to the conventions of the romance genre, but I didn't find the language in most of these tales erotic, just pragmatic or boring. And most of the heroines came off as naive or stupid, which didn't help matters. "
-

" I read this book in one sitting. All I can say is that Nancy Madore 1. can write and 2. definitely has a creative mind. It was crazy to see what she did to some of my favorite fairy tales. She definitely gave them a unique flavor. "

" For a few of these stories, throwing in the sex was awesome and then for others, not so much. Example...the snow white orgy...eww! Overall, I was entertained and got a good laugh a couple times. Would I recommend this one? Ehhh, probably not. "
