" I was about ten when I first read this book, and I loved it when I was ten. Then I moved and couldn't find the book in our local library, then I moved back and re-read the book when I was twelve. Obviously I didn't think it was that great. So i think it is an awesome book for younger children but will get kind of boring as you get older. "

" This book was quite enjoyable and while the ending is slightly predictable, it has a nice twist that i didn't expect. I won't ruin it, but it's a good read. "

" Wonderful book for grades 4 and up. Emmy and her parents are at the mercy of the evil Miss Barmy who is using a slew of magical rodents to keep Emmy's parents at bay and to keep others from seeing Emmy. Through a wonderful series of adventures, Emmy figures out how to use the rodents to her advantage. Great fun. "

" I read this one right after I finished Despereaux, and I liked it so much better! My daughter picked this one up at a school book fair, and I picked it up mostly out of curiosity. It was so much fun! "
