But the ending of the book--the last couple three pages--are so frustratingly awful that I had to drop my rating down to two stars. I understand the authors are trying to avoid repeating the events detailed in the Chronicles series, but that means that this book ends so abruptly that it doesn't even feel like a real ending, much less the ending of an entire trilogy. "
