" Martha spends the whole book doing nothing (or what amounts to nothing), and I didn't think the characterizations were that good. "

" Overall, the book was enjoyable. However, the transitions between narratives was confusing, especially early on. "

" A Doctor Who & Martha book. Fun to read. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Kiri | 12/24/2012

" A decent Doctor Who adventure, starring the 10th Doctor and Martha. There certainly are some good bits in here, but I think I have now officially read too many of these; they've lost their magic for me. "

" It has been some years since I have read this book, I remember loving the storyline. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Briita | 5/19/2012

" For a Doctor Who book it's very well done. One of my favorites of th long series. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Angela | 2/19/2012

" A proper monster story, though how the monsters use humans is quite gruesome. Martha is given something to do that requires her medical training, and the Doctor is running about as usual. This would make a good episode, it is a real page turner. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Tim Dunn | 6/14/2011

" One of the better Doctor Who novels available. Normally fast reads, I read this book faster....played out like an episode of the show. "
