" I didn't think I would like this book at first, but it grew on me. Some of it was a bit far fetched.....I felt so bad for the little girl in the story.....she seemed so lost. The adults were interesting to see how the effect guilt has on people and how it wears away at their psyche and how they don't get peace until they face their past. "

While I didn't really even like any of the characters (except the child), I found myself almost needing to find out what happened to them. This was a fairly strange book, and I'm not sure that I'd really recommend it, but once I got started, I definitely had to finish it. "

" It had a slow beginning. I wasn't sure I was going to get into it but I kept on because I bought it. About halfway through, the book picked up pace and got more interesting and the end was a complete shock! A great psychological thriller from the middle on. "
