" I was drawn to this book/series because of the upcoming movie at the time, and was entirely satisfied. I don't think I ever actually got around to watching the movie, but I've gone back to read the book many times. "

" No entendí nunca la emoción con esto. No me gusto, ni siquiera me atrapó en ningún momento.

La verdad con este tipo de libros no me hagan caso, tampoco me gustó Harry Potter, so... "

" I thought this was a good series. I loved the movie they made out of the first one and was disappointed they didn't continue with the others. "

" The story was very good. I am definitely a reader for fun, and I don't pay as much attention to detail as other's might. There is some discussion about the religious aspects of this book, which I see but wasn't at all bothered by. I read a lot of fantasy fiction so this was right up my alley. "

" Fun easy read (hope so since its a young adult book). Goodhearted adventure, I can see why they turned it into a movie. It talked about death a bit, not the usual "stun" the bad guys, which impressed me a lot. Probably will read the rest. "

" I read this prior to this class and I really enjoyed it. I loved the details and creativity in this world that Pullman created. It was a fun story, and although I haven't read the sequels yet, I plan to at some point. "
