"I really liked this book. For one thing, the whole premise is so nutty. Kate is a devout Catholic, was raised in the Vatican itself, and was trained and hired by the Vatican to be a professional demon hunter. She retired when she married and had her first child. In this book, she's been widowed and remarried, has a second child, and lives the normal life of a surburban mother of a 2-year old and a moody, middle school aged daughter. Until, that is, she's hauled back into demon hunting when a demon and its minions invade her town. All the while, she's frantically trying to hide her demon-hunting career from her daughter and new husband while still getting rid of the bad guys under the tutelage of her local priest, her Vatican mentor, and the local high school chemistry teacher."

" i love this book as much as the other two. the author doesn't lose momentum, that is for sure, except that it seems that timmy (the toddler) is growing very quickly and these books only span 4 months so far...oh well. this book is full of more secrets and revelations, action, and a little bit of a tear-jerker ending, at least for me anyway. " Not as good as her first two, but the author has certainly mastered the art of the series. This is a cliff-hanger, to say the least. "

" I liked this one better than California Demon. There was less "my kids are so great" and more plot. I saw most of the plot twists coming but it was still an enjoyable enough visit to the world of demon hunting. I'm game to continue reading the series. "

" Really Enjoyable book. In this one Kate has to decide if her daughter's chemistry teacher - David Long - is really her dead husband Eric. She also has to stop a demon taking over the world and clean the house. Really cute series. "

" I had a hard time getting into the first two books in this series, but I really enjoyed this one. This book delved into the mother/daughter relationship between two of the main characters and there was romance. And the last couple of pages made me gasp! "

" Goofy, definitely. And the protagonist is, in the tradition of many "cozy" murder mysteries, a doormat to family and friends- so if that annoys you, you won't like these (I can take that in small doses myself). "
