"This book is amazing! I rated it 5 star. Its about when a girl named dulcie moves to califnornia with her mom in her dads old pick up truck. the plot is kind of stupid but i liked it. as they were moving Her mom found a person to trade in car for just 300$ Dulcie loved her dads old rusty pick up truck, because thats all she had left of him. so at night she gets up and secretly drives back to her old town to see her dad. I found this book amazing . I t was kinda short but thats not why chose it. i chose it because i read the back and it was really good. Over all defining dulcie is amazing"

" This is a 3.5 but I think it's closer to a 4 than a 3. It's the author's first book, and he writes from personal experience about life as a janitor. I liked the humanity in this book, the huge tangents about traveling and random facts and word origins. The one thing that bothered me was that each chapter ended very neatly, with some quick and snappy dialogue that I found a bit unrealistic. "

" I will make Paul one of my new favorite authors! He is a wonderfully humerous and yet humble man. His book starts out with a GREAT hook and the story continues to tell how a girl deals with the death of her father and weaves in a tell of abuse....truly a remarkable book. "

" To me, this book was just "ok" which disappointed me most because I think it had the potential to be a good book, but it was just too short, issues weren't fully flushed out, and the ending came way too quickly. I even think a non-reader would still want more of a story. "

" I really enjoyed reading this book. I espcially liked the little bits of wisdom interwoven into the story. It also had just the right amount of humor in dealing with a sad subject (death of a father, husband). "

" This book was okay, but there are SO MANY books that follow this template of a girl finding herself following the death of a relative. I guess there's a demand for this type of book, but other books such as Pieces of Georgia did it better for me. "
