"I had read this a LONG time ago, so it was familiar. About a chemist (pharmacist) who has murdered his wife using chloroform. Helen West is sure of it, but she can't convince Bailey, who actually secretly agrees something is amiss. Good."

" This was a good quick read. The author being a lawyer colored the course of the mystery, of course. Her characters were nicely revealed and believable. Learned some about anesthesia and drugs. "
